Mykel Byersmith is a graduate of Baylor University in 2014 (B. Music, Church Music- Piano Emphasis) and West Texas A&M in 2017 (M. Music, Performance- Choral Conducting).
Mykel currently works as the Director of Music Ministries at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church- which includes being a choral director, a band director, a pianist, an organist, a composer, an arranger, and a teacher.
Mykel currently resides in Amarillo, Texas, but has family throughout the United States.
When not busy with his musical career, Mykel enjoys spending time with his wife, Madison. Mykel enjoys other artists sharing their own work- whether through a television show, a movie, a novel, or a podcast.
